Rain, rain go away
Come back another day.
A familiar & popular song,
That just feels hollow & wrong.
Many of us wished them away, those pesky rain days,
To simply go out and play.
Growing up thinking rainy days were bearers of gloom & doom,
This negative perspective makes my head swoon.
I have decided to take a different route,
Embrace the rainy day & not pout.
Letting come what may,
Each and every day.
As the rains falls, I stay in and play,
Maybe dress up time or dance party USA.
Whatever I choose on the rainy day ...
I hope it will be all the glory of a sunny one
Filled with magic and lots of fun!
