Brief Reflection on the LOVE of words!
I love words - lots of words! Family feels like a complicated word, except when I think of my immediate family - my kids and dogs! They are simple, beloved, & cherished! Words do matter, because they convey meaning and emotions, they can illustrate visions, peak curiosity, and even contribute to wisdom! My favorite word right now is infinity- meaning ongoing with no end, endless possibilities! It has an element that to me exudes positivity and the fulfillment of wishes and dreams. This word motivates me to stay the course, even on the challenging days.
A few other favorite words that i have always loved are:
Serendipity - fate, by chance, meant to be Plus it is fun to say!
And the serenity- peace and calm, like the serene beauty of art and nature. Generally, I love words because there is a quiet validation and resonance within my soul that means something even more deeply to me even when I am not always clear on the why. The journey is the search of discovery and that can be quite fun!
Glimmer is also a great word! To me glimmers are the small wins and everyday celebrations of moments. These are the moments that nourish your soul and ignite your heart! Sometimes I like to see them as signs along the way to confirm or rather affirm that I am in alignment with life. Kind of like breadcrumbs, but that is not as magical of a word, I don’t think. Glimmers are magical in the letters and the way it sounds when spoken out loud. They are sparkly, shiny, and glittery!
